Production and characteristics of unequal-flange bent angle
This type of rolled metal has one shelf wider than the other, and the outer angle is rounded. The product is obtained by rolling a steel strip through a profile bending machine.

To manufacture a bent unequal-flange angle of normal accuracy, blanks of steel of various grades are used:

St0 - carbon content less than 0.23%. Angles of this grade are used in the installation of lightweight, secondary structures.
St3kp - carbon content 0.14-0.22%, degree of deoxidation - boiling. Products are suitable for the installation of structures with a small load.
St3sp - differs from St3kp in a calm degree of deoxidation;
St5ps - carbon content 0.28-0.37%, semi-calm degree of deoxidation. Less suitable for welding. Angles are used to manufacture riveted products.
If it is necessary to obtain bent unequal-flange angles of high precision, strips of low-alloy steel 09G2S are used.

Marking of angles depends on their dimensions in mm: width of the first and second shelves, wall thickness.
Length of unequal-flange angles: 4, 6, 9, 10, 11.7 and 12 m. This indicator may vary according to individual orders.
