Steel water and gas pipe (VGP)

Description
The main activity of our company is the production of profile, steel and round pipes on an electric welding mill from strips of our own manufacture. The raw material for our products is rolled steel that has passed factory quality control and fully complies with GOST requirements. The quality of the raw materials used is confirmed by the relevant certificates from manufacturers.
Production of water and gas pipes
The raw material for the VGP pipe is sheet metal from carbon steel grades St1-2kp, St1-1-2ps, St1-08ps. The grade is distinguished by its low price, high weldability, resistance to the pressure of liquids of a wide range of temperatures.
There are two types of steel water and gas pipes:
With a straight seam. Sheet steel is bent to form a round section, the weld seam runs parallel to the pipe axis.
With a spiral seam. The steel strip (strip) is transformed into a pipe by winding, the edges of the strip are connected by electric arc welding.
In the manufacture of VGP pipes, the quality of the weld exceeds the quality of the product itself. To protect against corrosion and other harmful effects, a zinc coating is applied to the pipe.
VGP pipe size limits
diameter (internal and external) — 4-150 mm;
wall thickness
— light — 1.8-4 mm;
— ordinary — 2-4.5 mm;
— reinforced — 2.5-5.5 mm.
weight — 0.37-21.63 kg/running meter;
length — 4-12 m.
The thickness of the pipe walls depends on the conditions of use:
VGP pipes with thick walls are used for hot water supply systems;
for cold water supply systems — with medium-thick walls;
for domestic gas pipelines, pipes with thin walls are needed.
Small deviations from the established standards for wall thickness are allowed while maintaining the overall weight of the product.
