A very common and popular rolled product is a hot-rolled steel circle, which is made in the form of a round metal rod. Depending on the purpose of the product, in which it is used, it can be made of various grades of steel - structural, low-alloy, high-alloy, carbon. It can be used as a final product in the installation of metal structures, as well as a blank for other steel parts (steel circle 45).

Manufacturing technology
Hot-rolled circle can be used in a variety of areas of industry and production due to its properties: a smooth surface, a dense and durable structure, the ability to restore shape with little bending force, a wide range of diameters, and an extremely round cross-section. Hot-rolled circle is produced according to, which sets a standard for compliance with certain characteristics:

variation in product diameters from 5 to 280 mm;
with a diameter of up to 9 mm, sale in coils is possible;
with a diameter over 9 mm - delivery in the form of a rod;
length from 2 to 12 meters for products made of regular or low-alloy steel;
length from 2 to 6 meters for products made of alloy steel;
length from 1 to 6 meters for products made of high-alloy steel.
Depending on the purpose, the hot-rolled steel circle can be subjected to heat treatment. Cold-rolled steel circle has a diameter from 3 to 100 mm, it is produced by cold drawing. As a result of such treatment, the mechanical, physical and plastic properties of steel are improved. According to the accuracy of execution, hot-rolled circle is divided into the following classes: A (high), B (increased) and B (normal).

Scope of application
The steel circle can be used as a starting material for the production of tubular and shaped rolled products. Hot rolled steel circle is used for reinforcing reinforced concrete products (steel circle 16, steel circle 18, as an alternative to class A reinforcement), in the construction of various objects, in machine tool building, mechanical engineering, heavy industry, aircraft construction, for the organization of various fences. It is widely used in the production of fasteners for railways, for the installation of grounding circuits, in outdoor advertising and design. Stainless steel circle is used in the installation of structures that will be used in an environment with high humidity, with the presence of aggressive chemicals, high temperatures and heavy loads. Steel circles are produced from ordinary quality carbon steels (St0 - St5), low-alloy quality structural steels (09G2S, 09G2, 30KhGSA, 10HSND), quality structural carbon steels (St8 - St45), tool steels (U8, U8A), quality structural alloy steels (12KhN, 15Kh, 40Kh), quality spring structural steels (50KhFA, 60G), heat-resistant quality structural steels (12MKh, 15Kh5, steels for grinding balls (Sh1, Sh2, Sh3).
